To monetize your website, the following are the steps:

Know your market niche:

First, you need to know your market niche, the target audience you are actually targetting.

Let me explain the market niche by the definition given by Wikipedia

The market niche defines the product features aimed at satisfying specific market needs, as well as the price range, production quality and the demographics that it is intended to impact. So, the key concept is to know your market niche and stay in the domain in order to gather your audience but keep in mind sometimes being in your market niche may cause you some disadvantages as well, as in your domain is restricted.

Let me explain this with the help of an example,

 Persian-cat

Suppose, you have a website about cats of different breeds so, your market niche is obviously about Persian cats.

You will post blogs on how they look, how they eat, what they eat, what things they avoid and their behavior with humans.

Altogether, you cannot post anything except for Persian cats this is a plus point as a lot of people who are cat lovers will come and visit your website mostly but a disadvantage as well at some point you may don’t have anything to post as you have covered all the topics.

That’s where you actually are stuck and have to add some other elements to your niche to keep your blog alive but switching to some new topic may cause you to lose your audiences.
